Fairways, & Fore! Our Myrtle Beach Golf Invitational

As a group of six avid golfers, the annual Myrtle Beach golf trip is practically a sacred tradition. This year, we elevated it: the "Myrtle Beach Invitational" was officially on! The goal was simple: 3 rounds of incredible golf from Thursday to Sunday, a fantastic place to crash, and plenty of laughs. My role? The coordinator – a task that quickly became as intricate as a tricky putt on the 18th hole.

Finding the perfect Myrtle Beach golf package meant balancing everyone's budget, desired tee times, and preferred courses. We secured a sweet waterfront condo that served as our perfect base, offering stunning views and ample space for post-round recaps (and a few competitive card games and multiple episodes of Dexter). Over the long weekend, we battled it out on three fantastic courses, each offering its own unique challenge. The greens were pristine, the weather was perfect, and the camaraderie was even better.

Beyond the fairways, we made sure to hit up Broadway at the Beach for some great food and entertainment, adding another layer of fun to the trip. The highlight, of course, was the tournament itself. After three intense rounds, Griffin Schager emerged victorious, winning the inaugural Myrtle Beach Invitational by a solid four strokes – a feat that's still talked about!

This trip truly showcased how a well-planned group golf vacation can forge stronger bonds and create lasting memories. It also proved that coordinating for multiple people, securing the best deals, and handling all the logistics (especially for golf-specific travel) is a specialty. Ready to tee up your own unforgettable golf escape?

Played Myrtle Beach National on the last day, this is when Griffin was crowned champion hence why he’s sitting.

Ceremony for the green jacket.
